Our

STORY

It was back in 1993 when we decided that we wanted to start our own business, we had a small palapa house back then and Estela, who is my mother, started to cook for the tourists, we only had a few yucatecan dishes like panuchos, salbutes and some empanadas, but with time passing we started adding more and more.

In 1996 we built our first building that was a bigger Palapa, Now we have a Restaurant, cook everything at the moment and we use fresh ingredients so you can taste a little bit of our culture.

It is the only Yucatecan Restaurant in the area owned by locals so that gives you an idea of how our food is 100 % real, it is a family business and we all help with the duties here, our tortillas are hand made, a heritage from my grandmothers Francisca Ek who taught my mother how to make them and also Eulalia Delgado who helps making them when she is visiting us, my father has done a lot of work here to, we have a little hand craft store where he sells his carvings and other products like honey from our bees, My name is Miguel I'm the oldest son and I have a Sister Whose name is NIcte Ha, we garden most of our products and grow our animals. Don't hesitate on visiting us and try some guacamole or cochinita pibil which I'm sure you will enjoy and like.

Fue en 1993 cuando mis papas decidieron iniciar un negocio propio, al principio tenian una pequena palapa, vendian platillos sencillos como panuchos, salbutes y empanadas, en 1996 construyeron su primera etapa de lo que seria nuestro restaurante el dia de hoy, una palapa de mayor dimension y fueron agregando mas platillos regionales. Mi madre es la que cocina y el dia de hoy contamos con una amplia variedad de comida tipica y de la region, es un lugar familiar en el que todos contribuimos con los deberes, desde alimentar a los animales que utilizamos mas tarde hasta cosechar nuestros vegetales, la comida se hace al momento y somos el unico restaurante con comida 100% yucateca puesto que somos locales, mi nombre es Miguel soy el mayor de dos hijos, mi hermana se llama Nicte Ha (nombre maya), mi papa tambien ha contribuido ya que tenemos una tienda de artesanias en la que vende sus tallados en madera piedra o alabastro, otros productos se pueden encontrar como miel organica de nuestras abejitas, tambien elaboramos nuestras tortillas a mano, herencia de mi abuela Francisca Ek la cual enseño a mi madre. Mi abuela paterna Eulalia Delgado tambien contribuye cuando nos visita con sus tortillas bien calientes y recien salidas del comal, No dude en visitarnos, y pruebe un poquito de Yucatan, cochinita pibil, pollo pibil o guacamole, cualquiera de nuestros platillos puesto que son sabrosos.
